I liked the June festivals when I was a child. I lived in a city far from Salvador. On Saint John's day my grandfather assembled a bonfire in front of our house and at night he put fire on it. I, my brother and some friends stayed in front of the bonfire playing with fireworks. My mother and my grandmother cooked corn, peanuts and delicious cakes. We ate a lot. It was great. I enjoyed very much.
